What online coaching is, and what it is not

Online coaching is not a PDF of exercises sent once and forgotten. It is a programme written for your circumstances, revised as those circumstances change, with a coach reading your logs between sessions.

What it cannot do is correct your technique in the moment. That is the honest trade. In person, a bar drifting forward gets fixed on the next repetition; online, it gets fixed after you send the video. For many people that trade is worth making, because the alternative is no qualified coaching at all.

A typical week

Your programme sits in your private dashboard, laid out session by session, accessible on your phone at the gym. You train, you log what you actually did, and you add a note where something felt wrong.

Mehras reads those logs. Where a weight moved easily, the next prescription reflects it. Where a movement caused discomfort, it is substituted rather than endured. Check-ins happen at the frequency your support level includes, and between them you can message directly.

Video review is where online coaching earns its place. Film a working set from a consistent angle, send it, and you get specific feedback on what to change, on a recording that can be watched frame by frame rather than glanced at across a gym floor.

What you need

You need consistent access to equipment and the willingness to log honestly. A commercial gym is ideal. A well-equipped home setup works. A hotel gym for part of the year is workable, because programmes can be written with substitutions built in.

What genuinely does not work is irregular access combined with irregular logging. Without a record, the coaching has nothing to respond to, and you are paying for programming you could have found free.

Training across time zones

Coaching is run from Dubai (GST, UTC+4), which sits conveniently between Europe, Africa, South Asia and the Gulf. Messages and feedback are asynchronous by design, so nothing depends on being awake at the same hour. Live calls are scheduled around your time zone.

Choosing your support level

Three levels exist because people need different amounts of contact, not because more is automatically better.

  • Structured Independence suits experienced trainees who want a properly written programme and will largely get on with it.
  • Active Coaching suits most people: regular check-ins, programme adjustments and nutrition guidance.
  • High-Touch Transformation suits those who know that accountability, not information, is the thing they actually lack.

Live video calls are included at every level; what changes between them is how often. Coaching is delivered in English or Persian.

If you are unsure, the free consultation is the place to settle it. Choosing too much support wastes money; choosing too little is the more common reason people stop.
